Desiccant Cartridges

Regenerable and non-regenerable desiccant cartridges are available in many variants for numerous applications. For example:

  • desiccant cartridges made of aluminium and black anodized aluminium,
  • desiccant cartridges made of aluminium sheet, and
  • desiccant cartridges made of PE and PS.

According to the particular intended use, desiccant cartridges are filled with either silica gel or molecular sieves as the desiccant. Some desiccant cartridges are listed under NATO stock numbers (NSN). The cartridges published in this informative text are only a small selection from our product programme. Cartridges acc. to TL 4440-0007 (VG 95239)

Most of the desiccant cartridges used to protect military goods and equipment are produced in a variety of nominal sizes and lengths and individually packed in protective sleeves. The nominal sizes each describe the maximum volume that can be protected by one cartridge.

The body of the cartridge is made of black polystyrene with a viewing window for the 40% RH humidity indicator. Eight different sizes are available with molecular sieve filling. All desiccant cartridges are listed under NATO stock numbers (NSN).
